The first in my series of posts after my trip to kansas city! Here are lots of photos (half of them with my face on them from the glare, just... ignore that)
The first display case on the right side of the door.
I can't imagine realistically walking dogs like this. |
Here's Rebecca with her SE set.
On the right side of the doors. |
Here's Kaya with her SE set. |
Everything in the store was quite nicely stocked. I'm thinking that they must have gotten a bit of historical inventory with all of the Truly Me stuff.
Samantha's Garden Gazebo! It is quite a beautiful piece indeed. |
This fan looks almost identical to Marie Grace's fan, just with some added ribbon. |
Here's the cute setup in the bookstore area. |
Here's most of the pet stuff. |
Here's another display. |
and another display |
This is the grace photo op station. I wish I could get myself this
table and chairs set. |
Here's a (very blurry) photo of some of the winter items. |
The new accessories kiosk, very nicely displayed. |
Here's grace's bakery. It is a huge piece! |
Grace's bakery is amazing to see in person. The associate at the store actually said that the most they've ever had in stock is three, and that day they had one. WOW!!!
Her's Lindsey getting sent to the doll hospital. |
An overview of most of the modern doll area |
Here's one of the display windows outside of the store. |
The second display window outside the store. |
More display photos |
another display |
I must have photographed every display in that store, lol. |
These are weird displays. Basically they ran out of space/dolls to
display one item so it creates a weird scene like this where the employees are trying
their best to cram as many items as they can onto that one doll. |
I had no idea that there was some back cuts in the ballet leotard. I just thought it was cool. |
another display |
This display looks like one girl is trying to kick the other... |
at this point I was just getting bored |
I guess these photos can be used as references? |
Still have a nice school display |
Here's the flute in it's case.
After feeling the flute and the music stands, I really want this set! |
I think someone moved this dog later on in the day |
On the bottom of this you can see the new design for the backpack. |
Here is the store exclusive wind board with the PWP outfit!
*IMPORTANT NOTE* If you intend to purchase the life jacket, please consider that
the life jacket does not come with the PWP and instead comes with the wind board. |
Here's Caroline's display, since she's archiving. Multiple things were out of stock,
including the Spencer and hat as well as the ballgown. |
Here's the store exclusive displays |
these swimsuits are growing on me. |
Another example of display problems. You see because there is a limited number of dolls
that are on display, the girl on the right looks terrible injured because she must display the entire
"Feel better kit". I always think that's funny. |
Here's Caroline with her calf. |
Samantha with her travel bag and such. |
Julie in just the maxi dress. I hope to get this dress someday. |
A close up of the out of stock notices for Caroline's collection. |
Caroline and her skiff |
Julie's car wash set was still out on display, even though I thought it retired. |
Here's the display from the front.
And now for some of the historical box abnormalities. There were multiple doll boxes that had minor differences, so I photographed them.
The Kaya box on the right looks nothing like the other boxes!!!
Was it from the stores in Canada? Or maybe a prototype/earlier version box? |
This Addy box in the middle had no name and maybe a tad bit different coloring |
This Caroline box is really off color. |
This time I also decided to photograph the bittybaby/bitty twin sections.
This doll appears to want out of the crib. |
Of course one baby can change another |
The changing table was displayed often |
Here's a set of twins out on the floor for play. |
Shh. This baby is sleeping |
Come on bro, let's go! Says the little sister |
It's sad that they can't display the trundle pulled out. |
